Customer Terms

YAYSHOP applications enable Merchants (also referred to as "Sellers") to list their products/services, market them to customers, take orders and collect payments. YAYSHOP provides the merchant an online link (YAYSHOP URL) which can serve as the Seller's online portal to take orders. The link is generated by the Seller and set up while onboarding their store on YAYSHOP Application.

These terms pertain to Pricing, Payments, Refund & Dispute terms which are between the Seller and their Customer, facilitated by YAYSHOP. 

Products Listed

YAYSHOP facilitates a Seller to market their products and gather sales online. It may be explicitly noted that YAYSHOP is a facilitator and Products/Services listed on YAYSHOP URL are being listed by the Seller, in compliance with Merchant Terms agreed by the Seller. Any non-compliance may be bought to the notice of YAYSHOP through email support@yayshop.io

Pricing & Delivery Charges

Sellers shall ensure that the products they have listed on the YAYSHOP URL are sold at MRP, unless otherwise specified.

Seller may mention a flat shipping charge upfront or add additional shipping cost based on weight or distance for a particular order. Such information is updated on YAYSHOP application while setting up the Seller's online store and would be displayed as a information to the customer before they place their order on the Seller's YAYSHOP URL.

Typically, the price mentioned at the time of ordering will be the charged on the date of the delivery. However, prices of certain products/items may differ on the date of actual delivery. Accordingly, in case the prices are higher or lower on the date of delivery – the differential amount will be paid to or collected from the Customer (as the case may be). YAYSHOP acts merely as a facilitator to collect such payments which are agreed upon between Seller and customer and does not charge any money from the customer.

Customer Payments

Customers would have the option to make payment for their Orders on the YAYSHOP URL through various available modes viz. credit card, debit card and UPI or through direct payment  to the Seller. These payment modes will be decided and modified by YAYSHOP from time to time. YAYSHOP has the right to use only selective payment methods.

To protect the interest of customers, Payments for any order would be transferred to Seller's bank account only once the particular order has been marked as DELIVERED. 

Cancellation, Refunds & Disputes

Any payments for orders which gets cancelled on YAYSHOP will get refunded automatically. Refunds are triggered instantly if the Order gets cancelled and would get credited back to their respective payment instrument within a maximum 3 to 5 days.

In the event that customer believes he/she has been wrongly charged by the Seller without receipt of their order they may escalate the matter to support@yayshop.io stating the order number and details of the seller with whom the dispute has occured.
